Lutris Epic Games Code 256

  • Hi,

    mein erstes Thema hier.

    Ich möchte in Mint über Lutris Epic installieren, dies bricht aber mit dem Fehler "Exit with return code 256" ab.

    Wine und Winetricks ist installiert.

    System ist auf dem Aktuellen Stand.

    Was kann ich machen, was wird noch benötigt?

  • Doof. Probiert doch mal das Lutris als Debian-Paket zu installieren und guck ob's da auch so ist.

  • Wie denn Proton 8.0? Eigentlich sollte das über lutris-wine laufen

  • Wenn das nix bringt guck dir mal den Heroic Games Launcher an. Der ist viel besser für Epic. Der ist auch als Flatpak in der Anwendungsverwaltung.

    Da hst du gleich einen Launcher für GOG und Amazon Games mit dabei.

  • Du hast da einen Download-Manager und kannst mehrere Proton-Version gleichzeitig installiert haben. In den Einstellungen des Spiels kannst du dann auch die Proton- bzw Wine-GE-Version auswählen die du ausprobieren willst. Manchmal funktioniert die Neuste nicht so gut. Wenn du dann eine ältere Version nimmst läuft es auf einmal.

  • Bei dir ist irgendwie der Wurm drin. Im Terminal kannst du mit flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl Heroic starten und gucken was das schief läuft.
