Hallo in die Runde,
vor ein paar Tagen habe ich LM 21 Mate installiert und soweit ist auch alles in Ordnung.
Nur das Dateisymbol / Icon für PDF-Dateien ist besch...eiden: da wird nämlich quasi der PDF-Dokumneteninhalt als Miniatur (statt eines Icons) angezeigt.
In der schreibgeschützten usr/share/mime/application/pdf.xml

und der dortige Eintrag <generic-icon name="x-office-document"/> ist wohl der Auslöser für diese "Miniaturen" ...
Auch die Installation verschiedener PDF-Reader hat nichts geändert 
Wie und wo kann man kann man systemweit ein vernünftiges Icon hinterlegen (z.B. application-pdf.png dass ich in usr/share/icons/mate/48x48/mimetypes entdeckt habe ?
